Areas of application

For special products, where quality testing used to only be possible by means of off-line measuring systems, the relevant values can now be measured in-line. With ultrasonic measurement and certain scanner models, the outer diameter can also be recorded. Additionally the UMAC WALLMASTER systems can also supply all relevant quality data, process monitoring, trends, SPC etc. in real time.

Successfully in use all over the world for the past 40 years, with more than installed measuring systems. UMAC WALLMASTER systems of Zumbach make in-line measurements, data recording and control possible during tube, hose and cable extrusion. The devices are suitable for both on-line and off-line measurements.

The devices are also used for testing metal pipes (steel and/or non-ferrous metals).
